Advanced 科学 (荣誉)

Bachelor of Advanced 科学 (荣誉) offers the most advanced facilities and innovative teaching, allowing you to develop a working knowledge in 是as of scientific investigation to place you at the forefront of research 和 discovery.

该 first year of this degree involves the completion of a core Advanced 科学 course, as well as other discipline-specific science 课程 that will eventually contribute to your 重大的.

Because this degree offers a large amount of flexibility, the best way to choose your 课程 in first year is to think about the types of science that interest you.

 

 

 

Single Degree Structure

When taken as a single degree, the Bachelor of Advanced 科学 (荣誉) is made up of 24 课程 plus an 荣誉 year, taken over 4 years. Each squ是 below represents a course worth 6 Units of Credit (UoC):

Dual Degree Structure

When taken as a dual degree, the Bachelor of Advanced 科学 (荣誉) is made up of 16 课程 plus an 荣誉 year taken concurrently with 课程 for the ‘other’ degree. Students in a dual degree do take General Education 课程 or Free Electives:

All students in the Bachelor of Advanced 科学 (荣誉) must take the following course in their first year:

Other than one of the above-listed SCIF courses, there 是 no compulsory 课程 in the first year of the Bachelor of Advanced 科学 (荣誉) at UNSW. Instead, we recommend taking science 课程 that interest you:

1. Look at the list of 重大的s available in your degree (see below)
2. Eliminate the 重大的s you 是 definitely interested in
3. Look at the 课程 required for the 重大的s you interested in
4. Choose first year 课程 common to the 重大的s that interest you. That way, you’ll be keeping your options open.

You can also choose Free Electives (which are any course at UNSW, including science) or General Education 课程 (which 是 any non-science course at UNSW)。

记得: you don't need to decl是 your 重大的 until you start Stage 2 课程.

 A 次要 is a specified sequence of study within a discipline or sub-discipline, smaller in size 和 scope than a 重大的.
